Challenge Cup, a comprehensive competition for college students’ academic and scientific research competence, is co-sponsored by Communist Youth League Central Committee, China Association for Science, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. As a high-level national event, Challenge Cup is known as the Olympic Games of academic and scientific research among college students in China. Shanxi University has been taking Challenge Cup as a great opportunity to improve her students’ academic innovation and practical ability, to cultivate high quality talents and thus to build the university into a research university.
