The Division of Academic Affairs

  The Division of Academic Affairs (DAA) is a department which mainly assists Shanxi University (SXU) in handling academic affairs of undergraduate education, including admission, management of students’ status, teaching administration, teaching reform and evaluation, etc. The Division consists of offices such as the Office of Teaching Affairs, the Office of Teaching and Research, the Office of Teaching Practice, the Office of Evaluation, the Office of Textbooks, the General Office, the Office of Admission, and the Timetabling Centre. Under the leadership of the SXU Party committee, the SXU President’s Office, president and vice-president in charge of teaching affairs, the DAA acts in accordance with guidelines of competent authorities, provides professional advice on the construction, reform and management of teaching affairs, makes an effort to provide good services for teachers and students so as to ensure the stability of the normal teaching order and the steady improvement of teaching quality and finally promote the sustained development of SXU undergraduate education.
